Katie Wilson, Ozarka College Allied Health Division Chair, was incredibly proud of this year's pin recipients, "We are proud to celebrate the achievements of our Surgical Technology graduates, " she said. "Their dedication, skill, and resilience have prepared them to excel in the operating room and beyond. As they step into their critical roles within the healthcare team, we are confident that they will make a profound difference in the lives of many. "

The four students who received their pins were: Rhonda Cooper, Kyleigh Glass, Haylee King, and Bailey Miehe.

The ceremony included a welcome address from Ozarka College surgical technology director, Felicia Sisk; a keynote address from Ozarka College provost, Dr. Chris Lorch, in which he informed the students of the tough road ahead but reassured them that their training at Ozarka College had prepared them for it; a reading from the surgical technology class president, Haylee King; and the presentation of pins.

The purpose of the Ozarka College Surgical Technology program is to provide entry-level technical skills to students desiring to become Surgical Technologists.
