Ozarka College is now accepting applications for our Teacher Cadet program as part of Kids College at our Melbourne and Mountain View campuses. This unique opportunity is open to students entering 8th through 12th grade who are interested in leadership, mentoring, and exploring the field of education.
Teacher Cadets will assist instructors, support younger students, and gain valuable hands-on experience in a fun and educational setting. The program is designed to develop leadership and communication skills, while giving participants a meaningful and rewarding role in the classroom. There is no fee to apply or attend the Teacher Cadet program.
The Melbourne campus session will take place June 2-5, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at 218 College Drive. The Mountain View campus session will be held July 7-10, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at 1800 College Drive.
Only five students will be selected for each campus, so applying early is strongly recommended. The application form is available on the Ozarka College website, and the deadline to apply is May 30, 2025. Students selected as Teacher Cadets will be notified by email with further instructions prior to the start of the session.
